I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer and Nick Medina and their two boys a few weeks ago. We met at Jennifer's parent's house, using their beautiful front yard for this photo session. Initially, the session started off a little slow as the boys were a bit shy, but it wasn’t long before we were all having a blast!

Their dog, Lexi, joined us after a few family shots, and that's when the silliness ensued! It was obvious that Lexi is a beloved member of the family. The boys’ faces lit up as they played with her, and we captured some truly candid moments that reflected their joyful bond.

These little boys love to play sports, especially baseball. They proudly showed off their baseball gloves and bats, and we captured some action shots of them practicing their swings. The pure joy and excitement in their eyes were infectious.

One of my favorite moments was when everyone laid down on a blanket on the driveway while I stood over them to take their photo. The giggles and laughter made it clear that this was a family that knew how to have fun together.

After capturing some great outdoor shots, we moved inside and took some photos on the staircase. The boys were more relaxed by then, and their playful personalities really shone through.

Since it was also Christmastime, I couldn't resist getting a few shots of the boys decorating the Christmas tree. Their concentration as they carefully placed ornaments on the branches was heartwarming. The Medina family's home was filled with festive cheer, and it was a delight to capture those moments.

Update 9/3/2023:

Unfortunately, I haven’t kept up with the Medina family as much as I would have liked. I often think of them, especially when I pass by their home. I hope they’re doing well and that they’re happy and thriving. It was a joy working with them, and I cherish the memories of our session together.
