Bridal Beauty Tips

Everyone wants to look and feel your very best on your wedding day- after all, it’s the one day you’re guaranteed to be the center of attention. Luckily, there are some things you can control when it comes to how you look. Here are my tips:

1.) Drink a LOT of water. Our bodies are something like 98% water, and we expel water every time we sweat, sneeze, cough, urinate, and even breath. If we’re not putting that water back into our bodies, our skin is the first to show it. Being well hydrated helps give you that dewy glow we all want, so drink up!

2.) Find a skin care routine that works for you, one that keeps your face clean and as clear from acne as possible, and stick to it! Even a small lapse can cause acne to appear, and it’s much harder to clear up than to prevent it in the first place.

3.) Eat a balanced diet. You know the old saying, “You are what you eat”? It’s true. If you eat junk, your skin and energy levels reflect it. If you eat healthier, your skin clears up and you have more energy.

4.) If you plan to get a facial before your wedding, or before your engagement session, do so 2-3 days in advance so that the inflammation of your skin will go away in time for your photos.

5.) Find a great makeup artist. These people are worth their weight in gold when it comes to applying makeup for photos. I can recommend several amazing ones!

6.) Choose a dress you absolutely love! No matter anyone else’s opinion- you’ll glow if YOU feel beautiful in your dress.

7.) If you’re worried about looking as if you have flabby arms, the trick is to hold them away from your body just a tiny bit. This small change is enough to make a BIG difference.

That’s all I’ve got for now. If you have an amazing tip, post a comment below!
