Jamie and Zach were an absolute blast during their engagement photos at the University of New Mexico’s Duck Pond! It was clear from the start that these two are not just lovebirds but best friends who fell head over heels for each other.

We had such a fun time capturing their love story against the backdrop of the serene Duck Pond. Jamie and Zach’s laughter was infectious, and every moment we spent together was filled with genuine affection and joy. They truly made my job a breeze with their natural chemistry and playful spirits.

Looking ahead, Jamie and Zach are getting ready for their August wedding at the breathtaking Nature Pointe Wedding and Event Center in Tijeras, New Mexico. This venue perfectly matches their love for nature and the outdoors, promising a beautiful backdrop for their special day.

Update 7/9/2024:

After our session, I realized an important lesson: always ask for the job! At the time, Jamie and Zach hadn’t yet chosen a wedding photographer, and I missed a chance to express how excited I was about the possibility of capturing their wedding day. It’s a lesson that has stuck with me, reminding me to seize every opportunity and share my enthusiasm with couples.

Discovering Nature Pointe was another highlight. It’s now one of my favorite wedding venues! Tucked away in Tijeras, it’s a hidden gem with stunning landscapes and charming spaces that cater perfectly to weddings. I’m grateful to Jamie and Zach for introducing me to this amazing venue!
