Erica and C.J.'s family portrait session was actually a prize for a drawing I held on my Facebook Business Page. When my page hit 100 'Likes' I held a contest/drawing for one free session, and Erica won! I'm planning on hosting another drawing when my page hits 200 'Likes' (hint, hint!). 

I had a blast working with Erica, C.J., and their son, Colton. We met at the little park behind the Bosque Farms Village Offices on a Saturday evening. It was a beautiful evening for a photo session!

As we worked with Colton to get some individual shots of him, and then with each of his parents, I was able to catch up with C.J. whom I had gone to school with and get to know Erica. As it turns out, we had all been in the Los Lunas High School Tiger Band.

As Colton grew weary of taking photos, we let him have a small break, and I was able to capture some photos of just Erica and C.J. This sweet couple let me know that they planned to use the photos for their Save-the-Dates for their wedding this coming summer!

We soon wrapped up the session. It was a pleasure to work with this small family, and I want to wish Erica and C.J. the best of luck with their wedding plans and marriage! I look forward to working with you in the future!

Update 9/13/2023:

Erica and C.J. had a beautiful wedding that following Summer (I saw the photos she posted!) at Isleta Resort and Casino! However, several years later they sadly divorced and I haven’t kept up with either of them.

Wherever they are, I hope they’re doing well!
