Sabina, along with her best friend and their beloved pooches, joined me for a delightful maternity session recently. Having recently relocated from Illinois, Sabina fell in love with the area and wanted to capture our stunning Sandias and Manzanos in her maternity photos to share with her family back in Chicago.

We decided on the El Cerro de Los Lunas Hiking Trail system in Los Lunas for our shoot. Nestled around Los Lunas Hill, this park offers panoramic views of the mountains from its parking and picnic areas, providing a perfect backdrop for Sabina's maternity photoshoot.

Sabina, glowing with anticipation, posed gracefully amidst the scenic beauty of El Cerro de Los Lunas. Expecting a little girl named Sylvia in March, Sabina came prepared with an adorable wardrobe for Sylvia, showcasing a few special outfits during our session.

I wish Sabina and little Sylvia a safe and smooth delivery, with all the joys that motherhood brings!

Update 7/8/2024:

Sabina welcomed her healthy baby girl Sylvia into the world! However, I regret to say that I've lost touch with Sabina since then.

El Cerro de Los Lunas presents its own challenges as a photoshoot location—it offers no shade, minimal amenities, and desert sand that seems to find its way into everything. Despite these factors, the breathtaking landscapes, especially on this overcast day, made for a truly memorable session.
