After a long hiatus, my website is back up and running, and I can't wait to tell you about the Mendiola family's photo session down in Ruidoso.

This awesome family and I met just outside of Ruidoso, along the road to Bonito Lake for their family session over Memorial Day weekend, and it was definitely an adventurous session!

Crystal, Ivan, and their two boys Caleb and Eli were incredibly flexible, and I couldn't be more grateful to them for it! I drove down to Ruidoso early, to scout out locations for their family photo session, and in the process of doing that, the tie rod on my front passenger wheel snapped! And, for those of you who don't know, (I didn't know this) a tie rod is what actually connects your tires to your steering column and allows you to actually turn. My car wasn't going anywhere after that! 

Anyway, Crystal and Ivan were kind enough to come pick me up so that we could do their portrait session! We found this gorgeous stream headed up to Bonito Lake, and had to stop to take some portraits there!

I had a blast playing with the boys along the stream as we took portraits! They reminded me of my own boys so much, in how they looked out for one another.

When we finished along the stream, we went on up to the lake for a few more portraits before our time together was up.

Crystal and Ivan were kind enough to return me to my van after their portrait session, and by the grace of Heavenly Father and with a LOT of help from my father, I made it home the next day.
