Confessions of a Los Lunas, NM Photographer
It's hard to believe that I am once again writing this annual post. It seems like I just wrote the one at the beginning of 2016! But, here we are at the beginning of 2017.
First off, 2016 was more amazing than I could have ever imagined it turning out to be at the beginning of the year. I have been more blessed and received more opportunities this past year than I imagined I would, and I couldn't be more grateful for them, and all of the people that I got to share my blessings and adventures with. Thank you to all of my friends and family, but especially to my husband Justin, our boys Joshua and Christopher, and most importantly to my Heavenly Father. I couldn't have done it without any of you!
In 2016 I set some goals, some of which I came REALLY close to accomplishing (25 out of 27 family sessions, AND 3 out of 4 weddings!!!). Some goals I came close to achieving, but fell a little short (29 out of 36 books read- hey I AM dyslexic after all...). And, some goals I had to give up on period (you can't exactly train for a 10K while battling morning sickness, much less run the race...). All-in-all, though, I'm going to count this year as a win. I did well, and I did good in the world.
I'm already looking forward to what 2017 is going to bring! We do know that we'll be welcoming another little boy into our family and our organized chaos (for that's what it is when you're a mom to boys). Andrew Clifford is already loved and cherished by our whole family, and we're eagerly anticipating his arrival in a few weeks. As for other upcoming events, Joshua will be starting Pre-K this Fall, and Justin and I will be celebrating 8 years of marriage. Life is only getting better!
Now for a list of 2017's goals:
Book and Complete 40 Family Sessions (psst... I'm ALWAYS open to booking in advance!)
Book and Complete 5 Weddings (send all your newly engaged friends my info please!)
Read 36 Books (hey, I didn't quite complete this one, so why not try again?)
Run that 10K (I won't be spending most of this year pregnant, so carpe diem!)
Who's ready to help me meet these goals?! What are some of your goals? How can I help support you in reaching them? Let me know in the comments!
