Los Lunas Family Photo Session: the Watts Family

I had the pleasure of working with the awesome Watts Family on their fall family portraits. This adorable family chose Tondre Road in Los Lunas for the site of their photo session, and it was a beautiful evening for it! We had a light evening rain shower that cleared up right before we began to shoot, and the rainclouds combined with the sunset for some beautiful light.

Danielle is a hairstylist at D's Hair Salon in Peralta (and is amazing at her job!), and Travis is a coach and teacher. 

The reason for their photo shoot was so that they would have photos to send out with their Christmas Cards.

Update 8/10/2023:

Time flies by, when you’re watching someone else’s kids grow up! Danielle and Travis’s son has since graduated high school and is pursuing his studies at the college level.

One of the things I love the most about being a family portrait photographer in addition to photographing weddings is getting to watch the families I serve grow and evolve as I create their portraits through the years. It’s awesome to watch the kids grow up from these tiny little humans who love to tell me about their favorite dinosaurs into young adults who are embracing life and taking their first tentative steps into the adult world. It’s why I offer wedding photography alongside maternity, newborn, family, and senior portraits.

Oh, and if anyone wants photos along Tondre Road in Los Lunas, New Mexico, hit me up again! It’s still gorgeous!
