Lillie's Third Birthday- UNM Duck Pond

I had the pleasure of shooting Miss Lillie's third birthday photos a few weeks ago. Her mom and I agreed to meet at the UNM Duck Pond for these photos, and it turned out to be a perfect place for this curious little girl.

We started off shooting a few photos by the waterfall that runs into the duck pond. Miss Lillie loves to be outside, so climbing all over these rocks, and dipping her toes in the water was right up her alley.

We soon moved over to the bridge that runs across the duck pond. Miss Lillie climbed up on the railing and was quite intrigued by all she saw in the water.

Before long, we switched places again, this time to a small rose garden near by. She was absolutely adorable, smelling all the roses!

Before long, we began playing hide-and-seek, hiding behind all of the tall, tall trees on campus. 

Lillie had a blast playing with me at the duck pond, and I have to say, this is one of my all-time favorite locations to shoot at! If you're interested in having a photo shoot here, let me know!

Update 7/6/2024:

Lillie has grown into a beautiful, talented, smart, business-minded, kind, caring, hard-working young lady. She has earned accolades for her Girl Scout Cookie sales, awards and recognition for her community service, and quite a bit more.

I am so excited to see where this young lady goes in life, because, whatever she chooses to do, she’s going to excel at it!
