Sam and Joseph’s Backyard Wedding- Albuquerque, New Mexico

Intimate Albuquerque Backyard Wedding

I recently had the pleasure of working with Joseph and Sam Martinez during their beautiful backyard wedding.

The wedding took place at Joseph's aunt and uncle's home in Northeast Albuquerque, offering stunning views of the Sandia Mountains and the Sandia Reservation. It was an idyllic setting that added a touch of natural beauty to their special day.

Joseph and Sam mentioned that they hadn't put much planning into their wedding, but with details like these, you could sense they had been dreaming of this day for quite some time!

Before the ceremony, Sam and Joseph shared a private moment to pray together, and I was fortunate to capture this heartfelt moment on camera. It was a touching scene that spoke volumes about their love and commitment to each other.

The ceremony itself was officiated by a close family friend, surrounded by their loved ones. It was a simple yet deeply meaningful ceremony filled with love, laughter, and the best wishes for their future together.

After the vows were exchanged, we took some time to capture group portraits against the backdrop of the majestic mountains. Joseph and Sam radiated happiness as they celebrated with their families before heading back to the backyard for their reception.

I want to extend my heartfelt wishes to Joseph and Sam for a lifetime of happiness and love. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!

Update 7/6/2024:

While I haven’t kept in touch with Sam and Joseph, their intimate backyard wedding remains a cherished memory. It was one of the most beautiful and heartfelt weddings I’ve had the privilege to capture. I often think back to that serene backyard setting in Albuquerque, wishing I could use it for all my backyard weddings.

Sam and Joseph were a joy to work with, and I sincerely hope they are thriving and enjoying married life to the fullest.
