The Hendren Family- A Belen, New Mexico Portrait Session

Family Portrait on Becker Avenue in Belen, New Mexico

I had the pleasure of working with the Hendren family this past August, and it was an absolute blast!

My friendship with Heather and her daughter goes way back to when they joined my Girl Scout troop several years ago. It's been a joy watching Heather and Jon's children grow from young ones into the remarkable teens they are today.

We kicked off their family shoot in the yard of their home, which turned out to be quite the adventure with the mosquitoes! Despite the swarm (I swear there were about 50 of them on my leg at one point), we managed to capture some wonderful photos that showcase their love and bond as a family.

Afterward, we headed to the historic district of Belen for the rest of the session. The backdrop of the old buildings added a charming and timeless feel to the photos, and it was a treat to explore this new location with such a warm and loving family.

Thank you, Hendren family, for a memorable photo session!

Update 7/8/2024:

It's been too long since I last had the pleasure of working with the Hendren family, but I'm happy to hear they're doing well! Both children have grown up, graduated high school, and embarked on their own paths. Shannon, Heather's daughter, has pursued her passion in cosmetology and has also tied the knot!

It's a poignant reminder of how quickly time flies and how families grow and evolve. Working with the Hendren family was a pleasure, and I'm grateful to have been part of capturing their journey!
