Anna and Tony's Engagement Portrait Session- Albuquerque, New Mexico

I had the pleasure of shooting Anna and Tony's engagement photos this past August.

Anna and I go way back—we were Girl Scouts together! It was wonderful to reconnect with her and to finally meet Tony, who immediately struck me as the perfect match for Anna.

Before moving to the greater Boston area, Anna and Tony both worked at our local ABC News affiliate, KOAT Channel 7. Anna excelled as an Associate Producer for the morning show, while Tony showcased his talents as a photographer. Their love story began when they were introduced by mutual colleagues at work.

Although Anna hails from Los Lunas and Tony from the Boston area, they decided to relocate to be closer to Tony's family and, of course, to cheer on their beloved baseball team, the Boston Red Sox.

During our engagement photo session, we were joined by their adorable rescue dog, Baxter, who added an extra layer of joy and playfulness to the shoot.

Update 7/7/2024:

The couple tied the knot in the fall of 2016 in Tony's hometown, which was a beautiful celebration of their love. While I didn't photograph their wedding, I'm thrilled to hear that they had an amazing photographer who captured stunning memories for them.

In the years since, Anna and Tony have built a wonderful life together—they've purchased a home and welcomed a precious daughter into their family. It's heartwarming to see their journey unfold, though it's with a touch of sadness that I remember Baxter, who passed away a few years ago in Anna's loving embrace. He was truly the bestest boy ever.
